Terms &
Conditions
Membership Atelier
Access to Fitness Monk is granted only to registered members, approved trainees, and guests specifically authorized by management. By enrolling, entering, or using any service, you agree to these Terms and any additional posted rules, studio notices, safety instructions, or membership documents issued by Fitness Monk from time to time.
Membership is intended for disciplined training in a premium performance environment. It is issued at the discretion of management, is personal to the member, and may be limited, suspended, or revoked where safety, payment, conduct, or operational considerations require it.
Members are responsible for honestly disclosing information that may affect safe participation, including relevant injury history, medical restrictions, pregnancy, medications, or recent procedures. If a member appears unfit to train safely, Fitness Monk may require rest, modification, or medical clearance before further access is permitted.
- check_circleMembership is a personal, revocable license to use the facility and does not create an ownership right or guaranteed right of entry at all times.
- check_circleMembers must provide accurate identity, contact, emergency, and billing details and must promptly update any change in those details.
- check_circleMembers must be at least 18 years old unless a minor is specifically admitted under written parent or guardian consent and a Fitness Monk approved program.
- check_circleBiometric, digital, and physical access credentials are strictly non-transferable. Sharing credentials, tailgating, or granting entry to a non-member may result in immediate suspension.
- check_circleFitness Monk may deny entry or suspend access for non-payment, expired memberships, unsafe behavior, suspected intoxication, health and safety concerns, or refusal to follow staff instructions.
- check_circleSelected areas, classes, or recovery zones may be unavailable during maintenance, workshops, filming, private events, safety inspections, or emergencies without creating a refund obligation.
- check_circleRepeated breach of house rules, false declarations, abusive conduct, or misuse of the premises may result in cancellation or permanent termination without refund.
Kinetic Etiquette
"The Atelier is a disciplined shared environment, not a casual public floor."
Every member must contribute to a respectful, concentrated, and safe atmosphere. Conduct that distracts others, degrades the facility, invades privacy, or creates risk is prohibited and may trigger immediate disciplinary action.
Fitness Monk expects members to train responsibly, communicate respectfully, and use common spaces with care. The code of conduct applies to the floor, changing areas, recovery zones, reception, digital channels, and all interactions with staff and members.
- check_circleTreat staff, trainers, members, and guests with respect at all times. Harassment, intimidation, threats, discriminatory remarks, stalking, and unwanted physical contact are strictly prohibited.
- check_circleWear clean workout clothing and closed athletic footwear suitable for training. Members may be refused entry if attire, hygiene, or conduct creates a health or safety concern.
- check_circleWipe down benches, mats, and machines after use, rerack all weights, and return accessories to their designated place immediately after each set or exercise.
- check_circleUse equipment only for its intended purpose, within your level of competence, and only after understanding the safety instructions or obtaining staff guidance where needed.
- check_circleDo not drop weights outside designated lifting zones, slam machine stacks, stand on upholstery, tamper with cables, or make unauthorized adjustments to equipment.
- check_circlePhones must remain on silent in training zones. Calls, speaker audio, and disruptive recording are not permitted on the floor.
- check_circlePhotography, videography, and content creation are allowed only with prior staff approval and only when other members, staff, or private information are not captured without consent.
- check_circleSmoking, vaping, alcohol, narcotics, and training while under the influence of intoxicating substances are prohibited anywhere on the premises.
- check_circleUnauthorized coaching, solicitation, promotion, resale, or commercial activity inside the facility is not permitted without prior written approval from Fitness Monk.
- check_circleMembers must immediately comply with all posted rules, safety signage, emergency procedures, and verbal instructions issued by staff, trainers, or security personnel.
Any conduct that places another person at risk, humiliates another member, interferes with business operations, or damages the reputation of the facility may be treated as serious misconduct even if it is not expressly listed above.
Risk & Liability
Members use the facility and participate in activities voluntarily and at their own risk. Fitness Monk does not guarantee results, uninterrupted availability, or that the premises will be free from the ordinary risks associated with physical training and shared athletic use.
Where a member becomes injured, unwell, unresponsive, or appears to require urgent assistance, Fitness Monk may contact emergency services, provide basic assistance reasonably available on site, and notify the emergency contact on file. Any related medical, transport, or hospital costs remain the member's responsibility.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude liability where exclusion is not permitted under applicable law. Otherwise, all limitations, assumptions of risk, and reimbursement obligations in this section apply to the fullest extent permitted.
Physical Risk
Strength training, group sessions, cardio, mobility work, and recovery protocols involve inherent risks including strain, falls, equipment failure, aggravation of existing conditions, and other serious injury. Members voluntarily assume these risks each time they enter or use the facility.
Medical Responsibility
Members are responsible for determining whether they are medically fit to train. Any injury, illness, surgery, pregnancy, medication, restriction, or condition that may affect safe participation must be disclosed where relevant, and Fitness Monk may require medical clearance before access is granted or restored.
Property Loss
Personal belongings are brought to the premises at the member's own risk. Fitness Monk is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal property, vehicles, lockers, bags, electronics, or valuables, whether secured or unsecured.
Equipment Damage Policy
Any damage caused by negligence, misuse, reckless handling, unauthorized modification, or willful misconduct will be charged to the responsible member. Fitness Monk may impose a disciplinary fine, recover the full cost of inspection, labor, freight, repair, installation, downtime, and administration, and require replacement of the damaged equipment, attachment, upholstery, or accessory in original quality, finish, and specification or an equivalent approved by management before access is restored.
Financial Obligations
All memberships, coaching packages, and paid services are billed through the payment method selected by the member and are due in accordance with the agreed membership cycle. Members are responsible for keeping a valid payment profile on file and for ensuring that charges can be successfully processed on the due date.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, memberships renew automatically, are non-transferable, and are non-refundable once a billing period begins. Time lost due to travel, illness, scheduling conflicts, dissatisfaction with pace of progress, or disciplinary suspension does not create a right to refund, credit, or retroactive extension.
Members requesting cancellation or a freeze must do so through the designated written process within the required notice period. Freeze requests are subject to approval, may require supporting documentation, and do not excuse payment obligations already due or charges incurred before the freeze becomes effective.
Failed or reversed payments, chargebacks, bank penalties, or gateway fees arising from the member's account will be borne by the member. Fitness Monk may suspend access, reject bookings, deactivate credentials, and delay renewal or reactivation until all outstanding amounts are fully cleared.
Privacy, Access & Surveillance

By joining and using the facility, members acknowledge that some personal information must be processed for membership administration, safety, billing, and incident response.
