Eligibility & Activation

This Membership Policy explains how a Fitness Monk membership is approved, activated, used, changed, and, where necessary, suspended or terminated. It works alongside the Terms of Service and any service-specific rules issued at the facility.

Membership is designed for disciplined use of a premium training environment. Approval remains subject to capacity, program fit, health and safety considerations, and compliance with all onboarding and payment requirements.

  • check_circleMembership applications are subject to review and approval by Fitness Monk. Submission of an inquiry or payment request does not by itself guarantee acceptance.
  • check_circleApplicants must provide accurate legal name, date of birth, phone number, address, emergency contact details, and any other information reasonably required for onboarding and safety.
  • check_circleMembers must be at least 18 years old unless Fitness Monk approves a minor under a written parent or guardian consent process and a supervised program.
  • check_circleAny medical limitation, injury, surgery, pregnancy, prescribed restriction, or condition that may affect safe participation must be disclosed where relevant before training begins.
  • check_circleGovernment-issued identification may be requested for verification, reactivation, access recovery, or investigation of misuse.
  • check_circleMembership becomes active only after the required enrollment formalities are completed, waivers are accepted, and all joining charges due at activation are cleared.
02

Access & Usage Rights

"Membership grants managed access, not unrestricted occupancy."

Entry, amenity access, and service availability may differ by plan, time slot, staffing level, and operational needs. Fitness Monk retains control over how the premises are used and how capacity is managed.

Members are expected to use their plan in good faith, within the rules of the facility, and without interfering with the experience, privacy, or safety of others. Any misuse of a membership may lead to immediate restrictions.

  • check_circleMembership is personal, non-transferable, and may only be used by the named member for the plan, term, and access level approved by Fitness Monk.
  • check_circleEntry is permitted only through authorized access methods issued by Fitness Monk. Sharing QR codes, biometric access, OTPs, keycards, or other credentials is prohibited.
  • check_circleAccess to training floors, classes, consultations, recovery services, or premium zones depends on the active membership tier, schedule availability, staffing, maintenance, and operational capacity.
  • check_circleGuests, assistants, children, and outside coaches are not permitted unless specifically approved in writing by management for a defined purpose and time window.
  • check_circleLockers and changing spaces are provided as a convenience only. Members must remove belongings daily unless a separately assigned storage arrangement exists in writing.
  • check_circleFitness Monk may temporarily limit access to selected zones, equipment, or amenities for cleaning, repairs, events, programming adjustments, or safety reasons without extending the membership term.
  • check_circleMembers must check in when requested and must be able to verify identity on demand where safety, security, or misuse concerns arise.
03

Bookings & Attendance

Because many services are capacity-controlled, member punctuality and schedule discipline matter. Bookings are treated as reserved inventory, and operational planning depends on members using them responsibly.

  • event_availableAll sessions, assessments, consultations, and limited-capacity services must be booked through approved channels and remain subject to confirmation.
  • event_availableMembers should arrive early enough to check in, warm up, and begin on time. Late arrival may reduce the usable session window or result in rescheduling at Fitness Monk discretion.
  • event_availablePrivate session cancellations, reschedules, and no-show treatment may vary by service, but unless otherwise confirmed in writing, missed appointments and short-notice cancellations may be forfeited.
  • event_availableWhere a plan includes a limited number of sessions, unused sessions do not automatically roll forward beyond the active term unless a written exception is approved by management.
  • event_availableWaitlists, preferred trainer requests, and peak-hour requests are handled on a best-effort basis and are never guaranteed.
  • event_availableRepeated no-shows, repeated late arrivals, or repeated failure to observe booking instructions may result in temporary booking restrictions even where the membership itself remains active.

Fitness Monk may revise booking windows, class capacity, trainer allocation, or service availability to improve safety, scheduling efficiency, or member experience. Such operational changes do not amount to a refund event.

04

Billing & Renewals

Membership pricing reflects reserved access, facility standards, staffing, and operational planning. Members are responsible for ensuring that dues and related charges are paid on time and that their payment method remains valid throughout the membership term.

Where a member defaults, disputes a valid charge without first attempting resolution, or repeatedly fails to maintain a valid payment profile, Fitness Monk may pause access immediately while retaining the right to recover all outstanding amounts.

Plan Changes, Freezes & Cancellation

Member Requests

  • tuneRequests for freeze, downgrade, upgrade, reactivation, or cancellation must be submitted through the designated written process and are effective only after confirmation from Fitness Monk.
  • tuneFreeze requests are not retroactive and ordinarily require advance notice. Supporting documentation may be required for medical, travel, or exceptional circumstances.
  • tuneUnless management approves otherwise, freeze periods are limited, do not convert a membership into transferable credit, and do not erase already accrued dues, charges, or disciplinary action.

Plan Control

  • tuneUpgrades may take effect immediately or from the next billing cycle depending on availability and plan structure. Downgrades are generally prospective and subject to notice.
  • tuneMemberships, prepaid terms, and session balances cannot be sold, gifted, shared, or transferred to another person without explicit written approval.
  • tuneCancellation does not waive unpaid dues, damage charges, fines, or other liabilities already incurred before the effective termination date.
06

Discipline, Suspension & Recovery

Membership may be limited, suspended, or terminated where the member breaches policy, creates a safety concern, misuses the facility, or fails to maintain payment and identity compliance. Fitness Monk determines the appropriate response based on severity, repetition, and operational impact.

  • gavelFitness Monk may suspend or terminate a membership for unsafe conduct, harassment, abusive language, property damage, theft, intoxication, unauthorized coaching, repeated no-shows, or refusal to follow staff instructions.
  • gavelMisuse of access credentials, unauthorized entry of a guest, or misrepresentation of identity may result in immediate revocation of access without refund.
  • gavelAny member responsible for loss, damage, contamination, or reckless misuse of equipment, fixtures, furnishings, towels, lockers, or access systems may be charged inspection costs, repair costs, replacement costs, downtime, and an administrative fine.
  • gavelWhere replacement is required, the member may be required to replace the damaged item in original quality, finish, and operating condition or reimburse Fitness Monk for an approved equivalent.
  • gavelWarnings, suspensions, or exceptions granted in one case do not prevent Fitness Monk from taking stronger action in later cases or for more serious breaches.
  • gavelSerious incidents may be documented through access logs, CCTV, witness statements, and incident reports and may be escalated to legal authorities where appropriate.

Continued use of the facility after policy updates, renewals, or operational notices constitutes acceptance of the current Membership Policy.
